Meet Our Team
Dr. Tyler M. Richards

Dr. Richards grew up in Milltown NJ, where he went to Bishop George AHR High in Edison NJ. After completing HS, he went to West Virginia University and received his BS degree in exercise physiology from the School of Medicine. Upon graduating from WVU he knew that he had to continue his education and based on knowing the value of exercise on human health and well-being he had intentions of getting a PHD in Exercise Physiology where he wanted to do more research on the effects of exercise on the human body.
After a debilitating car accident that left him bed ridden with electrical shock shooting into his body, he was faced with taking medications and surgery to alleviate the pressure on the nervous system. Being educated about how the body works, he knew there had to be something else he could do. His sister worked for a chiropractor, at the time and suggested that he should “give it a try.” As a skeptic, just like a lot of people, he was thinking “how in the world could twisting my body into different positions help MY situation”, but he was facing the surgeon’s knife. About one month into his treatment program he was back on his feet and most of the ailments had resolved themselves. After that he knew what he needed to do for humanity. He attended Life Chiropractic School in Marietta GA about 3 months after his accident. He received a Doctorate in Chiropractic and after graduation moved back to NJ to bring this great healing art back to his community that he grew up in.

Dr. Richards is a gentle, caring and highly experienced chiropractor. He has over 9 years of experience in treating patients with chronic or acute back, neck, shoulder, sciatic nerve and extremity pain. You will get Chiropractic care at his office. There will be no sugar coating with different therapies. Dr. Richards makes a conscious effort to explain things completely, to ensure his patients understand why he does what he does, and are comfortable with his treatment. He will correct the bony structure, that houses the nervous system, and by doing so the function of the body increases to its maximum potential. Health and healing are an inherent right; sickness, disease and symptoms are a result of not nurturing and taking care of the body.
